Twistfix

A Warm Welcome

Twistfix are excited to announce the opening of a new forum on our website. The space can be used to raise questions and generate debate and discussion of property preservation and building renovation issues. Providing a pool of knowledge regarding damp and mould problems, structural movement, roofing, wall ties and much more, the forum will provide the perfect platform to share experience and knowledge amongst its members.

Since opening, the forum has already attracted a large number of messages and comments on its many topics, which range from basement conversions and plastering to repairing cracks in walls and cures for condensation. Anyone is welcome to join and share their tips and ideas - the forum is constantly monitored and moderated so that we enjoy a friendly, helpful atmosphere among our diverse members.

Modern internet forums evolved from the dialup bulletin board systems of the late 1970s. The first web-based forums can be traced back to 1994 and have since grown to encompass almost every area of society, with many 'threads' or conversations attracting thousands of replies. The virtual community has often been known to generate a sense of camaraderie amongst its members and to provide much-needed advice from users in similar situations around the world.

Joining our useful and friendly forum is simple. After clicking on the 'Forum' link at the top of our homepage, click 'Register' to read and approve the terms of service before entering your registration details and confirmation. An email will be sent to you with a link to confirm your registration and you will then have access to the forum and be immediately able to begin posting and sharing your experiences.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to all new members; we hope you enjoy using the forum and welcome any comments you may have.
