Basement Waterproofing with Cavity Drain Membranes

This basement waterproofing video demonstrates how to install a cavity drain membrane system in an existing home basement. Rolls of membrane are are fixed to wall and floor surfaces to create a waterproof barrier with drainage capacity.  Behind the membrane is a drainage system comprising channels, sump basins, and float activated pumps that collect intruding water and discharge it from the building.
