Twistfix 9mm x 255mm replacement wall tie kit delivers a quick, easy, dependable retrofit solution to cavity wall tie failure. It is suitable for reconnecting two masonry walls with cavity widths ranging from 75 to 95 mm amid imperial brickwork or 85 to 105 mm cavities where walls have 100 mm wide metric bricks and blocks. These twisted stainless steel brick ties are the choice of professionals for wall tie replacement.

This kit's professional SDS insertion tool holds and hammer-drives the retrofit ties as they screw into brick, masonry or concrete when driven into small pilot holes using the hammer action of an SDS drill. The ties grip within an interlocking helical undercut without applying any expansive stress on the brickwork.

The Thor Helical replacement wall ties we sell comprise 50% more stainless steel mass than alternative standard 8 mm helical ties, making them substantially stronger, and their patented precise helix ensures unbeatable performance to safeguard stability. The brick fixing system is suitable for all wall types and is UKCA and CE Mark compliant in respect of EN845-1:2013 when used in numerous masonry materials.

The 100 tie kit is sufficient to retro-tie 40 square meters when installed into existing walls at the specified rate of 2.5 ties per square metre.

Our replacement wall ties have been independently tested for tension and compression in a variety of brick block and concrete materials for compliance with BS EN 845-1, meeting the requirement for UKCA and CE marking.
