Wykamol Hydra-Dry is a fibre-reinforced Universal Mortar. Use it as a render on masonry walls to level surfaces or create profiles. The polymer-modified mix has excellent waterproofing qualities. This feature makes it perfect for use alongside a tanking slurry. You can also use it as a fillet to seal wall-to-floor junctions.

To mix Wykamol Universal Mortar, pour 3 to 3.75 litres of water into a bucket. Slowly add the powder whilst mixing with a low-speed paddle for 3 minutes.

The Universal Mortar adheres well to clean pre-wet masonry. Use it on walls of brick, block and concrete. The dense mortar is resilient to moisture and salts. Its fibre reinforcement improves tensile strength and reduces cracks.

If the substrate is highly porous, apply a diluted SBR primer. The SBR to water ratio must be one-to-one. Give the primer an hour or two to dry before applying the Universal Mortar.

Render walls by trowel or spray in 5 mm to 15 mm thick layers. Profile the mortar once stable but before it sets hard. Guard it from direct sunlight and winds as it cures. 

Use Wykamol Universal Mortar to seal wall junctions. Press a mortar fillet along the wall and floor seam. The fillet should be at least 25 mm thick. Use a coving trowel to compress the mortar and feather its edges.

A 25 kg Universal Mortar bag covers approximately 1.4 sqm at 10 mm thickness.

Next day delivery is available for orders placed before 2pm Monday - Friday (working days). Delivery will be made on the next working day.

For orders placed before 2pm on a Friday, delivery will be made on the following Monday. For orders placed after 2pm on a Friday and over the weekend, delivery will be made on the following Tuesday. For orders placed on a Bank Holiday, goods will be dispatched on the next working day (e.g goods will be dispatched on the Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday).

These delivery options are available at an extra charge. Delivery prices are shown at checkout stage. Orders need to be placed before 2pm Monday - Friday (working days) for delivery on the following working day.
